Sure I like the Rockies and the Mets are up there for me as well. The Cubs have been my team most of my life. I have suffered with you for quite some time. Ofcourse in '84 I was still a Sox fan. In '89 I was all out Cubs and still cant believe the numbers Gracie put up. WE wont mention Clark though.OOOOps just did.
I live like 15 minutes from Aurora.
So the Cubs have lost 3 in a row, but im confident once they get fully healthy again they will get somewhat of a bigger lead in the division, they should win it by atleast 7-10 games.

Pre - I will take my name being mentioned in one of your previous posts as a "shout out". It is appreciated!

As to Creep's corrections, NO ONE should ever consider it a personal blow. You will know if he is attacking you. Just like me, our opinions may differ from someone else's views. That does not mean you are an idiot, we just disagree.....sometimes strongly!!!!!!

I am in the middle of watching Dempster throw a gem of a game. At least the Cubs should get out of Houston with one of three......ughhh!

Now we just need a Cardinal and Brewer loss!

I don't see the Angels losing to anybody if they keep winning the way they do. I'll take a look at a stats sheet later and see if I notice any trends that might indicate weaknesses, but I doubt I'll find something glaring. They are as solid a team as any.

I still think that the Nl Wild Card is going to come from the Central so I think it will be the Brewers, also, I think the Twins will win the AL Central, and honestly, I think this year is the year,

Seeing as we're making predictions I'll make mine then..

AL East - Boston Red Sox
AL Central - Chicago White Sox
AL West - Los Angeles Angels
AL Wild Card- Tampa Bay Devil Rays

NL East - New York Mets
NL Central - Chicago Cubs
NL West - Los Angeles Dodgers
NL Wild Card - Milwaukee Brewers

AL Champions - Los Angeles Angels
NL Champions - Chicago Cubs

World Series Champions - aww, can't decide... ask me later.

Pre, I think the one weakness the Angels have is the lack of runs. There's a reason why K-rod has 40 saves already... I just hope they pick the bats up, the pitching is amazing right now.

I love this... The Angels put up 14 runs today and K-rod still ends up with a save.

Apparently its looking more and more like Holliday is going to stay put. The Angels are most likely going after Brian Fuentes right now. The LAA scouts have been here at Coors checking him out. He is a decent closer who can be used as an effective set-up guy, or a situational left handed arm. The Rockies are gonna need to dump some salary. Even though they aren't to far back from Arizona I don't see how they can be considered contenders at this stage of the season.
