Geez, maybe one of these days the NL will finally come away with a "W" from the Allstar game. What has it been, 10 or 11 years since they last won the Allstar game?

I was wondering the exact same thing when I read Easton's post. You get one of those natural "what the hell?" responses from reading it.

Found this on the New york post

During last Sunday's interview on Baseball tonight in Orlando, Joba stated the reason why he pitches right handed, even though he does nearly everything else with the left side of his body. Joba said, "In little league more than half of the players on the other teams were right handed, and my father new if I could get a good slider that breaks away I could be unstoppable."

Sorry I mixed up righty and lefty. I don't what your problem with me is Creep, considering I've never done anything to you, but It would be nice if you get off my back.

They last won in the Vet in '96, so maybe they should bring the game back to Philly!

First of all, it's not just me who has a problem with what you post from time to time. Trust me on that.
I've already stated in this very thread what my problem is with you... your complete lack of sports knowledge (outside of your immediate area) is what bothers me.
Get some facts straight in your posts, and myself and others might not have such a problem with you.

Like I said before, you got a problem with me send me a PM or something.
I could also care less about people liking me or not liking me because I know for sure that people feel the same about you. I'm not arguing with you, I'm not one who holds grudges on people. Just keep this thread on topic, like the rules say.

I dont want to jinx anything but, I cant help but feel like something is gonna happen to the Cubs. I dont know maybe Bartman will make an appearence or something. I really really hope this is the year but man. Something just has to go wrong right??

I expected the ceiling to cave in a while back... yet the Cubs keep proving me wrong, which is nice.

The Cubs are going to run away from the rest of the division and easily make the playoffs. They were the best team in the NL in the first half, and will be again in the second half. Their lineup and pitching is among the best in the NL after the Harden trade. They've also shown that they can make through injuries and can break out of slumps fast.
They're doing nearly everything right an have one of the best managers so if anything wrong happens to them I'd say it would be nothing major.

They won't run away with the division. You thought the same of the Phills but look what happened. All it takes is for one team to get a little streak going. Nobody here is qualified to make predictions like that one. I think they're going to have to stay hot to hold off Milwaukee and the Cards.
Feels good seeing the Mets in first place again. Now some people knows what it feels like for their team to give up a big lead really quickly. I'm skeptical that we'll be able to keep things going and I don't know if we'll even hold on for the wild card but things are looking good now.
