Spring training is basically a showing for the young guys in the farm system and warmups for pitchers!
I would not hold your breath on the Tigers. You can QUOTE ME RIGHT NOW.....the Tigers will not win the Series and will not make it to the series!!!!!! It will be the Cubs and Indians!!!!!
The Cubs lost their opening day game in extra innings after kosuke fukedome hit a game tying home run in the bottom of the ninth. Neither closers looked good today.
A real heartbreaker. Go FUKU man, he looked great. Big Z was in his regular form even recording a pick off. Im sure his forearm is no big deal. I love Kerry Wood but his outing was garbage, if he is gonna close he better step it up. Great game though.
You are right Negative saying the Indians are gonna be in the Series is a bold statement.
I think the Indians could very well be in the series. They have a good rotation and excellent offense. I think they are going to be better this year than last year and last year they almost went to the World Series.
PvtDirt, my statement was tongue in cheek. I am a Cubs fan and to be honest I think it would be pretty BOLD to predict anyone. I didnt mean to insult the Indians. Yes they do have an improved pitching staff and offensive weapons that will produce. At this point in the season all we can do is speculate. Me being a Cubs fan know what injuries can do to a team. When Zambrano and Lee ran into eachother today as minor as it was I was thinking Great just what we need both out.

I kind of figured that's what you meant. Thanks for clearing that up.
Angels looked like garbage yesterday against the Twins, sloppy batting and a couple of terrible errors cost us.
Johan...stellar performance. That's all that needs to be said I think.
Johan looked great, simply put. Maybe Pre will have something to cheer for about his rotation this year.
Angels topple the Twins tonight in Jon Garland's debute. He pitched great, he came out throwing strikes and got a load of easy ground balls to help the defense.
