Wish that I was on ole rocky top,
Down in the tennessee hills.
Ain't no smoggy smoke on rocky top,
Ain't no telephone bills.
Once there was a girl on rocky top,
Half bear the other half cat.
Wild as a mink, sweet as soda pop,
I still dream about that.
Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.
Once two strangers climbed on rocky top,
Lookin' for a moonshine still.
Strangers ain't come back from rocky top,
Guess they never will.
Corn won't grow at all on rocky top,
Dirt's too rocky by far.
That's why all the folks on rocky top
Get their corn from a jar.
Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.
Now I've had years of cramped up city life,
Trapped like a duck in a pen.
Now all I know is it's a pity life
Can't be simple again.
Rocky top, you'll always be
Home sweet home to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top tennessee, rocky top tennessee.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee's back-to-back road games at Florida and LSU looked formidable before the season started. Now the situation looks more daunting.

The No. 10 Volunteers made the stretch tougher by losing last week to the Gators. Tennessee must win Saturday night at No. 3 LSU to avoid dropping out of the Southeastern Conference title chase.
Further stacking the odds against Tennessee (1-1, 0-1): The game has turned out to be the home opener for the Tigers (1-0, 0-0), derailed from their original home opener by Hurricane Katrina.
"We're obviously chasing now, but you really don't have any choice if you want to have a chance to go and compete in a very hostile environment," Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said.
For LSU, the game is another step toward normalcy after the hurricane turned the campus into a temporary hospital, evacuee shelter and morgue. That postponed the Tigers' scheduled opener against North Texas, and their Sept. 10 game against Arizona State was moved to Tempe.
"We've already talked about team goals, and it's no secret that this football team feels drawn to play for the state of Louisiana, if not every year then certainly this year," said LSU coach Les Miles, who finally makes his debut in front of the home fans.
Another hurricane could postpone it again. Both schools were watching the track of Hurricane Rita, predicted to make landfall Friday night or Saturday morning on the Texas coast. Tennessee's team planned to fly to Baton Rouge, La., Saturday morning instead of Friday because of a shortage of hotel rooms.
Meanwhile, the Vols will try to improve after last week's 16-7 loss at The Swamp. The special teams needed work after a blocked field goal, failed fake punt and fumbled punt, and the offense hoped to get in sync.
Fulmer ended the rotating quarterbacks by naming Erik Ainge the starter, but Rick Clausen, an LSU transfer, will be available. Injuries are forcing the Vols to shuffle the offensive line.
The defense, which played well at Florida, will try to stop LSU's big quarterback, 6-foot-5 JaMarcus Russell, and the Tigers' power running game.
Tennessee was one of the preseason favorites to win the SEC, and LSU was picked to win the West division.
"You come into the season with high hopes, expectations of an SEC championship and hopefully a national championship berth. For us right now the main thing is just believing we still can win, we still can be a part of the SEC championship," Tennessee defensive tackle Jesse Mahelona said.
But the Vols know winning at Tiger Stadium will be hard.
Tight end Chris Brown, from Destrehan, La., has talked to his teammates about the atmosphere at LSU.
"Our stadium is loud and Florida at The Swamp is loud. But when you get down there, those people, I don't know what it is about them, they just seem a little more rowdy or a little more crazy and will do whatever it takes to give their team an edge," he said.
The teams have not faced each other since playing twice in 2001. The Vols won the regular-season matchup, but the Tigers beat them in the SEC title game.
LSU last hosted Tennessee in 2000 and won 38-31 in overtime. The Vols went into that game after a loss to Florida.
The same combination of a loss and visit to Tiger Stadium means Fulmer doesn't need much to get his team focused.
"I don't think there needs to be any outside motivation," he said. "It's a great place to play."
