BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! That's a bold prediction... are you hoping your Angels play them so they can sweep them in four games like the Red Sox did last year???

(I despise the Cardinals)

The Angels have some holes in their pitching. They are a great offensive team with fantastic speed, but I do not see them making the series. I have to say the Red Sox will be the team to beat in the AL and the Marlins or Cardinals in the NL.

Being a devoted Cub fan makes it tough for me to swallow my pride and say the Cards. The Cubs should get the Wild Card, but they need to STAY healthy!

Holes in the angels pitching??? r u on drugs?! They have one of the best bullpens in baseball, their starters have an ERA of 3.27 which is 3rd in the A.L. and they will only get better when their offense heats up. As for the red sox, schilling is hurt, lowe is gone, their offense is clearly not as good as last year with manny and ortiz htting like .250. The cardinals have gotten new players and are much better than they were last year. So dont make predicitions when you know squat bout baseball!

The Angels don't stand much of a chance this year. Even if they do squeak past the Rangers to win the division, there is still many question marks. Will Dallas McPherson live up to the hype? Will Darrin Erstad fall apart in the second half of the season like he usually does? Can Garret Anderson get through the season without being injured? Can the Angels actually decide what city they represent? I think the Cards are a lock in the National League, but the A.L. is still wide open.

Mcpherson is finally seeing the ball well and is getting his average up and hitting home runs. If u recall he hit like 3 home runs in 3 days and they were game winners. he will hit and when he does evry othyer team is screwed. As for Darin Erstad.... when has he fallen apart in the second half? Please, know your info before you speak plz. Anderson is feeling healthy again and contributing like crazy. He, and the angels, with Vlad out, will only get better as the season goes on.

OK, let's take a look at Darin Erstad's stats for his career...

Before all-star break, career:
.305 AVG, 75 HR, 377 RBI

After all-star break, career:
.267 AVG, 34 HR, 204 RBI

Erstad is notorious for this in MLB. For you to be a fan of the Angels and not know this is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, the Angels are a good team. Heck, they better be with a $95 million payroll. And yes, McPherson has been hot lately. Three homers in three games is impressive. But it is a long season.

it is foolish of you to judge a team with one players stats. Shame on you. AND ur right is is a long season. But do you know why thats to the Angels advantage? of course you dont! The angels have been struggling but that will only allow them to get hot when the time is right.. the playoffs. I can safely say that when they have all their players off the DL evry team is done for. No more arguments Alia$$.. u r wrong!
