Amazing comebacks

Last night I was lying on the couch watching the Ill/Zona game and almost turned it off with 5 minutes to go. The Illini looked sluggish and as they were giving up. As I watched in disbelief, they quickly got back in it. Lute Olsen looked like he was going to shoot someone pacing the sidelines! As the cats put up their final shot in OT, I damn near jumped out of my clothes in excitement. This was truley a game that will end up on ESPN classic right away.

What other classic comebacks do you guys remember in any sport?

How about the Oilers/Bills, or the Niners/Giants a few years back!

My favorite comeback would be ofcourse...the Mudbugs.This season on home ice,the bugs played the Laredo bucks a team they played in the finals the previous season,and lost over a controversial goal.The place was soldout,loud as HELLL!In the 3rd period the Bucks scored 2 goals getting a 3-1 advantage.With 9 minutes left the Mudbugs two veterans scored on a 2 v 5 short handed rush.3-2.Then with 2 minutes left,people left dissapointed(like 100 left,definitly not "true"fans)Then one of the rookies,who hardly scored,tied it up.3-3.Then with 20 SECONDS left,the same person who scored short handed got the game winner.21.3 seconds left.

allright i got 1 for u im more of a baseball fan so here we go...

the cardinals were down 9-3 in bottom of the 8th. they had scored a few runs then they got to the were they were on 2nd out and were down 5. the cards scored 5 runs,8 total batters all of this was a 2 out rally

How about when the 49ers were playing the Giants in a playoff game and the Niner cameback from like 30 to go ahead by 1 point. then the giants have a chance to kick a game winning field goal and the snap is bobble and the 49ers win! :D

Ya I watched that game, it was a great game, But the Niners should have lost that game cause of on that play there was a wrong call cuase the ref had thought one of the ends where a line men and so when he bobbled it it went to a pass play and the qb for the giants threw the ball to that end and the end scored but it the ref called the end an illeagle player down field.

O just tell ya Iam a 49ERS fan too.

But back on topic now, sad to say it cause I'am a yankees fan but when the red sox came back from being down 3-0 in the play off series against the yakees, some of the greatest baseball I've seen in awhile

What about....oh I don't know...within the past 2 years.....Monday Night Football.....Colts vs. Bucs......What was it?.....21 or 28 pts in the 4th quarter?......Wasn't that the game where Vanderjagt missed the FG, and that guy on the Bucs gets a penalty called on him for jumping?

Then Vanderjagt re-kicks it.....it splits the upright and goes in.....completely ridiculous.....

Go niners! anyone see the 2202 world series when the angels came from 5 down in the 7th which was the largest comeback in the history of the world series? I SURE DID! WOOT!

You're all wrong! No one remembers the miracle game of 2001. The Cleveland Indians were down 2 to 14 in the 7th inning and came all the way back to win in the extra innings 15-14 against the Seattle Mariners on August 5th, 2001. Most amazing game ever.
