We'll be hosting our 2nd NTK tournament, called No Mercy. The tournament will begin Feburay, 23rd, Friday. If you want to join the tournament you must apply by the Feburay 17th 11:59 EST deadline or you will not be accepted, no exceptions will be made. The teams will be made of 4 members, each team can have one member change, but changes must be submitted to Admin 24 hours before a match starts and must be apporved first by Admin, you must have a very good reason though! It's a best out of 3 games series.
Each game will have one referee, not including the championship, they will watch in spectators view, which will be passwod protected and only they'll know the password, no one else is allowed in there. This is a single elimination tournament.
Also in the final championship the rounds per game will be 11 and timer will be set to 4 mins per round, depending on he number of people that join. There will be two referees instead of one. All other rules will be the same like the rest of the tournament. If a room has too much lag the room will be remade and the game will start from scratch. Only referees can decide if there is too much lag or if someone is glitching, not the teams playing.
If there is a problem, it's your job to make sure they know, this doesn't mean they won't be watching all the players there self, but they may miss something. If no one from a team doesn't show up it's a automatic forfeit. If only one, two or three show up, they have the option to play without the team mate(s) that didn't show up or forfeit.
Match Specifics
Friendy fire will be on
Explosions & long-ranged explosions are off.
Grenades can't be used, but smoke & Flashbangs are allowed.
9 rounds per map at 3 minutes per round, except championship
Vehicles are to be off unless otherwise agreed by BOTH teams.
All guns must be on unless otherwise agreed by BOTH teams.
Map/Type/size/Side Selection
Each team will get to pick one map they want to play on, if there is a tie-breaker needed it will be played on Killing Fields. The team that wins the most rounds will get to pick which side they want on tie-breaker, if this is tied it will be based on which team with the higher MVP points total will get to pick which side they want to be on the last map in a event of a tie. If the MVP points total is tied as well, the team who gets to pick which side they want on will be based on a coin toss by a referee.
Any Map can be picked on Socom 3, maps from Socom Combined Assault are allowed, but both teams must have Socom Combined assault or they have to play Socom 3 maps. They may also be any type.
All maps are to be small, unless otherwise agreed by BOTH teams playing.
Camping
There is to be NO camping in the spawn, this doesn't mean a team member or two can't get on the walls in Killing Fields to snipe or otherwise hide close by the spawn to snipe.
Cheating and other Rules
Glitching is prohibited, this includes soft-cornering glitching and using stand-by or lag switches. If a team member(s) are found glitching they will lose that game, not map, but the game.
