QS Tag-Team Tournament

Alright here we are first socom3.com QS tournament.


Rules:

# of players: 2v2
Map: Harvester (Near Barn)/ Killing Fields (under bridge)
Weapon: M82A1A/M87ELR-High Scope
Restrictions:Ghillie suits, prone sniping
Game Type: Best of 11 Rounds
Requirements to Join: Must have a Socom 3 Forums Account. Must be on the QS ladder. (For prizes)



Prizes:

• 1st Place: +3pts (for both members)
• 2nd Place: +2pts (for both members)
• 3rd Place: +1 pts(for both members)

Any suggestions, modifications, clarifications or signups can be posted here.

Interesting idea, but people will ruin it so fast. Just make it a simple 2v2 meet by house/under bridge.

If you did that, Otter and I would win... I mean enter.

I would participate in this, although I do not get the whole idea of the tag-team. Either make it a regular 2v2 like bob said, or just have 2 people duel at first, and then when one person dies, the remaining player goes against the victor.

How would they ruin it? Perhaps I can modify it so that its harder to "ruin".

Cylon it would be like snipe off's in S2. Where two people go out and have their match and then the other person goes out. There's only 1v1 at a time but if one person goes down the teammate replaces them until their both dead. So basically it's just a 1v1 then when a members goes down the teammate replaces him/Her.

People would obviously just gang up on one guy, guy with front spawn or something, but oh well, this should be good.

EDIT- WOW didn't even read rules. Thought this was a dubs tourny. I really don't see the point in tag team, too complicated, it's just a prettier and fancier 1v1 really, a dubs would be cool :)

Change it from the prone idea. If a guy takes out the player standing, the proned sniper will either:

a) have their crosshairs on them already
b) have to get up slow as hell and get sniped getting up

It won't work. You can't trust people to play fair, they won't do it. Just flat out two people versus two people would work better I think.

Also the intend of the "Tag-team" was not to necessarily have the second guy come in only when their partner dies. They can come in to throw off the aim of their opponent.
