Hey, I'm looking to start a tournament. I have alot of the things planned out but I just need some user feedback.
Prizes are free hosting/domain name for the winning team, or just 25$ through paypal. Also if you get the domain/hosting then you will recieve a free clan template from my site.
-It will be a 16 team organized tournament. Socom III is the game obviously and i'm going to say anywhere from 4v4 - 8v8. Small maps only!
-It will be organized with 1 Admin(Me), possibly 2 Admins(A Choice Made by Me). There will be 6-12 referees that can help solve any disputes/report wins or losses.
-Everything will be hosted by my site, I can't advertise in this post because it's againest these rules, but my site is in my signature.
I need some user feedback for the rules and map choices so that this tournament can run as flawless as possible.
Just list any rules or suggestions you have for this tournament.
Well i say goodluck to you. There's been quite a few people that have tried to start up tourneys on their own, with little success. But hey, i like the enthusiasm and would be glad to help if needed, i.e. referree, organization tips, ect. I'll check out your site. PM me if needed.

As what he said i am going to say good luck to you i hosted and rans a 32 team 4v4 tourney and it came out pretty good in the end.
If you need a REF i have experience reffing for gamebattles and other smaller sites.

It will definatley be a small map tournament. I myself do not like larger maps and from the players view I see that a lot of players like smaller maps better.
