8v8 February Break Clan Blast Off Tourney

I was thinkin it would b sweet if I set up a tournament over February Break 2006. I'd create the website and set up all the brackets and stuff but i was just wondering if you guys would think it would b sweet...if you have any ideas for this tournament reply and give me some ideas.

I've been thinking about the rules and guidelines, here they are...

Name: .\(ercenaries February Break 8v8 Clan Tournament

Dates: Start: Saturday February 18, 2006 @ 12:00pm
End: Friday February 24, 2006 @ around 8:00pm

Signup Deadline: Thursday, February 16, 2006 @ 9:00pm

# of Clans: 10

# of Brackets: 2- Gold and Silver (then Seeding will b determined after round robin play

Type: Ranked 8v8

Rules: No Explosives, Glitching, Cheating

Maps: Each team gets to pick map. Last map will b decided by an administrator on the website. it will b shown before the start of the match. Clan with the lowest rank gets first pick on map and then team with the higher rank gets second map.

Type of Maps: Clans can pick any map to their liking, whether it be a small map or big map...any game type to (Suppression, Demo, Escort, Extraction, Control Points, or Breach). You can use any weapon type other than Explosives though.

Rounds: 11 rounds-4 minutes (so games won't take forever to end)

Server: eSEALs

Rewards: Bragging Rights cuz I'm not sponsored or anything and don't have money...this is just for fun to see how ur clan ranks up against others.

I think this would be great, although the only problem will be getting ten clans to join. I know at least three from this site will defiantly join, its just a matter of getting another 7. Good work though, I would like to see this happen.

Your clan, Fs3, and probably the POOP clan. Thats all the big clans that I can think of that are actually active on this site.

sweet have them sign up in the guest book for my website...i've got all of the Tournament info all set so now we'll need to find some more clans. I'll get them off Socom 3 message boards and asking other clans.

u said its gonn be ranked 8v8, and on the rules it has to be passworded. if that happens, ppl wont be able to join.
