New tournament idea
We figured the last one wouldn't work with states and stuff, not enough people would be able to sign up and make it work and people aren't reliable.
So we came up with just a normal tourny.
A bracket for 6v6 small maps.
And a bracket for 12v12 big maps. We figured that 16v16 half the time it'd be a royal pain to get both teams with full # of players to get on.
The tourny would be a pick your own maps tourny.
Rules will be set out at a later time.
We can have refs if needed.
Both brackets must have a minimum 6 (for 6v6) or 12 (for 12v12) people on their roster, but they can have up to 10 (for 6v6) and 16 (for 12v12) on their roster for subs.
We'd try to get as many teams signed up as possible, no real rules for the team you want, it can be anyone.
What do you think? Again, sorry for posting two ideas real fast, but the other one was just too damn hard.

Oh it will be, if I can find them, I'll get the threads from the last s2 tournament we had, it went perfectly. The only problem were people not showing up and so on.
This one will run even better. |

The only issue that I could see is people signing up and not coming. Not that it could be as bad as the Secret Santa thing, mind you.

I'm puting up a Tournament & Games section soon. We can discuss this further and coordinate a new official www.socom3.com tournament when that happens. I am waiting on one individual *COUGH JENS* to help me out. 
Good idea otter. Come up with some ground rules too.

That is a better idea than the first one, but how would we pick teams? There should be a section where some people try to orginize teams together.
*EDIT*
oh and if this idea gets off the ground then someone with a good capture card should make a video of the tournament.

I dont see why this wont work. Just have to make sure that the team shows up and set up rules if they dont and so on. but that can be figured out at a later date. Will these teams be all clan or can the ybe players from mixed clans and simply just a bunch of friends???

Half of [Fs3] has capture cards. Mine is better than Otter's.
