Don't be afraid to grab that shotgun...

The shotgun is great. Here are some things its good for:

> Camping, which half the people do anyway, behind a corner and pop out, the obvious way, but like dive, or jump to really scare them into reloading or something like that.

> Driving, Ride around in a truck with that shotgun equiped and drive right up to someone, hop out so that you land right in front of him, maybe make the car hit them, easy kills there.

> Distance, Slug ammo is a beast. Aim for the head, 3 slugs to the chest.... you do have time for that, aim like a couple inches ahead of where he's going, and bang. Also, grab a pistol you can you use well, I prefer Model 18 with somethin on it.

> Fast shotguns, use the TA or M4-90 for one reason, its quicker. Its heavier and less powerful, but if you time your shots, you can shoot more than with the 12 guage pump.

> THINK FAST, see someone running towards you, hide and wait a second for them to reload or get really close, be unpredictable, be deadly. Use whatever you can for cover.

The shotgun is a fun gun to use mainly because it is hard to use sometimes, and it embarasses some people and pisses them off more when you jump out from around a corner and blast their fast in. Remember, its a 2-3 shot kill 90% of the time. Aim for one guy, kill him, forget the others around you, unless you can knock em all down and kill them one by one, which i did today in socom 2.

I easily own with the 12 Gauge Pump when Im on my game. I love that gun with a rifle laser and slug ammo. Basically when I play in any respawns, I always ue the 12 Gauge pump. I use it in ranked games if the map calls for it (small maps, in doors, or citadel).

In my all socom montage I have like 1 min of pure TA action. Love that gun, cit terr small I'm unstoppable.

I love the TA. The only reason it's my favourite is that it holds 12 shells before reload while the pump and M4-90 only hold 8. TA is my best friend on fault.

12 pump own's all. its alwayz a direct kill for me. even last night i took 6 down n a fault terr game. i sat back n used my slug ammo n just waited for the rushers to come out. they couldn't believe that the slug ammo would go that far. nice tips

Yea same here, in like Fault I will use the TA and get quite a few kills, good tips man.

Shotguns > All guns. I whiped out 2 guys with headshots on slugs a few games on S3 ago, ask Radio. Then we pooned them the rest of the time. It was on fault, in the Seal Spawn also. Big area :D
