Please help me out and get me on my feet before i buy this game.

Since everyone on my Friends list on Socom2 has moved on to Socom 3... I've decided i would buy the stupid thing. But I'm going to be as loyal to Socom 1 as possible :) (no rpg's noob guns or any of that crap)

(1) First, what is the lightest gear i can wear? I am planning on using.
M4A1 SD/552 SD
(lightest pistol)
M67, claymore, x2 ammo. (light enough??)
(2) Is there anyway i can not use any teamwork and still be succesful. In the past i've always went of on my own, and usally got MVP or highest kills on my team.
(3) Do m67's or claymores/mines work on Tanks/vechicles? i was reading that you need to use an RPG. but i've never used one and i'd probally shoot myself in the face.
(4) Are the upgrades for your gun worth having over a grenade? If i use the M4a1/552 do i have to use an upgrade to make it SD?
(5) Do you have to beat single player to unlock the ghille suit or other characters like in socom 2? also is it worth completing?
(6) Is the game overrun by RPG/m203 using scum?
(7) Is there a lot of draws because of the bigger maps? or is the time in the game just longer? I camp a lot and i'm wondering if it's still a good tactic in s3.
( Is there less lag then in socom 2?
(9) Has the hits taken gone down to around liek in socom 1? (4 hits maxium to kill someone)
(10) Is this game hard to adjust too? i have been on and off of socom2 for 7 months, useally getting less kills then deaths because i haven't beeen playing a lot. so because it's a new game, should i warm up on single player, completing mission and getting characters, or should i go right to online respawn games?

1) Thats light gear you have, I believe the M16 is also very light. No grenades to have the lowest possible load.

2) It depends who you are playing against wheter its a large or small map. usually though you might want SOME teamwork unlike in socom 2.

3) M67's and claymores do not work on tanks, but HE's work, so use them on tanks.

4) You dont have to upgrade your gun, but you can have 2 attachments on your gun plus up to four grenades at the same time. They dont interfere with each other.

5) You have to beat the game on commander to get the ghillie suits, on captain to get the front grip and the medium scope, and on admiral to get the IW and STG. It is worth beating three times in my opinion.

6) Not really. Its good in most rooms, you might find a room where everyone is using them but I find that rare.

7) The round times are the same as in socom 2. there are not more draws in suppression unless you have equal players on the same side (team with most players alive wins), control, convoy, breach, and escort, there arent a ton of draws. the only map you might find a lot is in demolition.

No lag in socom 3 like in socom 2. its much better, you may find some frame rate issues on certain maps, but it is awesome without lag!

9) Its like 2-3 hits and the other guy falls. It they dont ,then you are probably not hitting them. (leg shot different from chest also)

10) its not that hard to get used to. A few respawns and you will get the hang of it.
