I love it when people try to switch to their pistol during a close-quarters firefight. That's usually when I know that I'll win.

The re-load is definitely quicker.

i have never seen someone pull out a pistol. thats because its pointless

Reloading is rarely a problem if you follow these 2 rules for gunfighting

1- Bring a gun (make sure you have a FULL clip BEFORE engaging enemy)
2- Bring a friend with a gun

There are more rules for this that someone posted on this site for S2, but these 2 serve me pretty well

i always run with a full clip, that's the key if you have liek 15 shots left reload while out of a fight, if there are only like 3 bullets left empty it, but other than that wait for the reload, i've tried the whole pistol thing, it doesn't work on SOCOM, you can pull it off on Star Wars Battlefront or SWBF 2 but it's still not always the best tactic
