Yes I must say I've only seen a few people use the m14. Its not a bad gun and can be useful.

I dont like the m14 much on socom 3 i use it sometimes in respawn, but not in games much.

I used to use it, but not anymore. It just doesn't seem to offer anything useful for me. Although, I have seen plenty of people own with it in a game.

I have seen a drastic downfall with the use of the M14. In S2 40% of people used it now about 2% use it. Probably because they have introduced better and more efficent guns.

I'm pretty sure the downfall with the M-14 happened when the front grip was introduced to the masses.

the only time i use it is when there are no sniper rifles in devils road small. then i either choose M16, IW, or the M14

I liked using it, for the single player games. You can snipe with it, and rock & roll with it. On some on-line maps, I'll use it. I'm not a good on-line sniper, but it gives me that option, if I need it. M-14 with a medium or high scope, works very well.

I've developed a new found respect for the M-14. I used to not like it (look at my previous posts in this topic), but now I'm really enjoying it as a multi-purpose sniper rifle.

Tons of fun getting head shots with this rifle.
