I think the sr-25 has to be the best gun in the game...it's awesome for camping in bushes and going predator style for hours on end. So fun to just not shot anyone LOL...m87 w/ high scope > anything (except for skype and a lag switch )

I always go for the enemies sniper, so if I'm a seal I get the 82, and a terrorist I get an 87, Ido this because if I should miss, God forbid, it is thier teams sniper and they won't think it's me -_-

L96 for me. High scope, hits harder than the SR and it's faster to reload than the M8s.
I only use the SR when I'm lazy and I don't feel like letting people know where I am; and the M8s when there are multiple people on the opposing side using M8s.
Otherwise, the L96 is badass if you're a decent sniper and don't rely on shooting people anywhere on their body for a kill. Plus, like people said, it's not as loud as the M8s.

I think the L9 stinks. It's way loud, not a OSOK, and is pretty heavy. The OSOKs are heavy, but they're OSOKs for gods sake. OSOKs have bobby scopes, if you can get over that and learn how to use bobby scopes well, there is basically no advantage for the L9 that the OSOK doesn't have.

How's it do?,
My opinion, test all Sniper Rifles out with ClanMates/Friends. Decide on which of the 4 work absolutely fantastic for you. That's what I do all the time when I have some kind of trouble deciding on which weapon I personally want to use in a certain game. It works more than you know, don't listen to the people that tell you upon which Sniper Rifle to use, because their likes are probably way in the opposite zone than yours. But, then again..it's all up to you.

but anyways....... for me it a SR-25
a) sr-25 with suppressor and 12X scope [i have my game face on]
b) sr-25 with bipod and medium scope [bored as ****]
c) OSOK with high scope [feel like shooting fish in a barrel so ****ing easy]

I've always prefered the M87...it just feels more accurate to me and is better for sniping close targets. It's also great for "shot-gunning" your enemy. The M82 is perfect for long range, though. I have never really tried the L96AW and I don't use the SR-25 or SASR that much (unless I'm bored and want to screw around).

The M80s and the L96's basically have the same range, but the L96 takes practice to be good with. I dislike using the M80s because of the 1hit-1kill factor; seems noob for me. I'd rather get 1hit-1kill with a headshot than shooting someone in the arm for a kill.
