The m16's range is almost that of a SASR, its amazing how far away i've hit them. I use a x4 scope or thermal with it.

I always use the M16A2 even except in small maps like Fault or Citadel. Citadel would be nice but it's too laggy for a M16A2

killing fields/demo/Terrs last night using the M16, I went 25-4 (stepped on teammate's uncalled PMN, so enemy only killed me 3 times)

counter-sniping M87/M82 snipers is the best!

that gun is the best all-around gun in the game...up close in CQB in can be tricky vs assault rifles, machineguns, etc but if you can control the tri-burst thats not a problem

doesn't even need a front grip n/or bipod. its accurate n theres no recoil.

to the topic: it takes time wit the m16 to get it down. nice to snipe wit n CQB. I think the best map to use the m16 is Killin fields either side. run n gun and sniping.

yeah just add a high scope and a laser your set just use the scope to take people out that are totally oblivious to you using single shot, and when things get to like all out war use the burst and happy killing.... just practice...

it's all about getting used to the burst, but hey if you hit R1 like crazy it will shot like an auto.

what i find the coolest about the m16 is that you can use it as seal or terror.
I think everybody should learn the m16, if things aint working you can always fall back on the m16 :) (most cases anyway)

For the most part, I keep my M-16 on semi-auto. I usually have a high scope attached, so I like to do the whole "one shot, one kill" thing. I'll back that up with a P-226 for any close encouters of the noob kind.
