The only downside to the Hk5 and HK7 are their range, but they can take an F90. The only extra downside for the HK7 is the 20 round clip, which really does suck.
I'm not a big fan of the HK36 though, I'll take an M4 over it any day.

I suppose if the HK7 had a larger clip it wouldn't be fair and this was Zipper's attempt to even things out. More than can be said for the F90's 50 round magazine
I used to use th HK7 but I now switched to the hk5. Its alot better i was like 11-1 on Harvester demo the other day. I had the hk5, silencer, and laser. Now I use it in all CQB maps, and small maps.
If I had to go with an HK weapon, I would take the HK-36. I'm not a big fan of any of their weapons (I'm not too crazy about them in real life either). I'd much rather use an M-8 in CQC situations.

i'm not a Close Quarter Combat person, i'm more a sniper, but when i'm upclose i recommend the AG-94, it has virtually no recoil and can have a scope, and is very fast, that or the mk.48 with a front grip and a scope.

Silencer and a rifle laser on the HK5. No better combination than this. I don't understand where all these complaints about range are coming from. At medium range w/ a headshot you can bring a guy down. Pretty good for an SMG.
