What kind of gamer are you?

I will make this post to help you decide what weapon you should use.

Answer these true/false questions:

1. When I play, I do not get hot.

2. When I play, the controler stays cool, dry, and smooth.

3. When I see an enemy, I wait for a good shot, then fire (you do not fire as soon as you see someone)

4. I make sure the person I see is not a team mate.

5. I almost never use Gls (including airbursts)

6. My hit % in a normal game is a least 30%

7. I like to use stealth

8. I aim for the head, not the body, most of the time

9. I am calm when I shoot or see someone

10. If a team mate is near by, I wait for him/her to come to help me fight

11. I am very good with the pistol


Every question you answered true to gives you oe point, add up your points.

0-3 points: Run and gun
4-6 points: Machine gunner
7-8 points: Assault gunner or SMGer
9-10 points: Use M-16 with good scope
11 points: Sniper

What are your results, and is the test correct?

Same as above (only if you are a sniper):

1. I use the Ghille every time

2. I use .50 cal weapons

3. I use sliencer

4. I run with my pistol out

5. I run with my rifle out

6. I take the easiest shot

7. I take head shots

8. I aim in front of somebody if they are running and kill them most of the time

9. I keep the crosshairs on them and shoot

10. I use the high scope

11. I move to a diffrent spot after I kill a few people

12. I fire at enemy snipers first, then the others


Now, add up your "trues" for the odds, now add up the evens but do not add the two sums together:

If you have a higher number for the odds: Use the SR-25 with silencer or SASR with sliencer, and if you have one, use a ghille.

If you have more evens than odds, use a M82A1A with high scope or M87ELR with high scope. Try first without a bipod and move around after a few kills and when it is safe. After that, try with a bipod, stay covering a certain vantage point (drop zone on convoy, extraction point, small doorway that is used often), and if enough cover is possible, use a ghille (only use if terrian is good for it, use respawn to practice first with the ghille, then without it. Try and see what outfit is the best camo for your spot, sometims it is not the ghille).

If you have an equal amount of points for both, use the L-AW. Try diffrent tactics from both sniper classifications in a respawn to see what works for you the best.

These tests are not perfect, some results may not be correct. My tests are not telling you what to do, they are just recommending a diffrent way to play the game. I realize some may already use the tactics given by the results of my tests, that just shows how they are somtimes right.

Ah, thanks. I could have made it into one post, but I had to think about the sniper test for a while. I tried to make the tests based off of what certain people liked to do:

Interviews with M82/87 snipers and with stealth snipers. I can make it better, but my best one is only for people in my clan.

Come out to www.socom3.com rooms that should give you plenty of oppurtunties to test your "test" "Under Fire" . They are usually posted in the www.socom3.com room forum. Sometimes we just make them randomly though, it usually is in US East 30...but were an inconsistent bunch

sometimes my hands get sweaty, OK? sue me.
sometimes i aim for the head, but i aim for the body with the OSOK snipers
i dont usually use sniper rifles, i usually use SMGs or assault rifles, so my hit percentage is rarely over 30

good work with the test, i suppose it's fairly accurate
