Trap The Tank!

I do this only instead of sacraficing a tank, I hang out near a place where tanks ussually go through, planting mines and laying prone a fair distance away. Nothing better then seeing a tank full of enemies just randomly blow up while cruising down the road

Lol, I remember when my friend and I trapped a tank in the city part of Killing Fields, there was one guy left. I distracted the tank he put a 2 mines in back of it. THen he got on a vehicle's turret started shooting, got the guy's attention and I quickly placed two in front lol. He couldn't get out without getting shot, or couldn't go forward, backward, or side to side because he was in the city and mines were placed in front and back of it.

but what if you do that,then some moron on your team gets in the tank and drives off in it? hmm? then what? then you are screwed. everyone will hate you. then you'll get voted off. then your rating will drop. then when you ask to join a clan they'll see you stats and say "oh...this guy can't play". then you will be marked as a loser in the sc3 universe. then you will hate yourself and to make yourself feel better you will buy a gun and kill your family. then when you're in jail you'll drop the soap in the shower and then some guy will come up behind you and say "pick up the soap". then you'll lose your sanity because of this and the men in the white coats will take you to happy land.

So you triple post? This is a stupid tactic. If your team drove the tank you would get a lot more kills.

I use this tactic, but I plant M2 mines around vehicles that my team wouldn't need, i.e. a Technical.

An then they just drive over one and the tank survives and then your F*cked and have no mines.

this is more a BF2MC tactic than socom... in that game this would work, but in S3 you really are handicapping your team
