Certain attatchments decreace accuracy

Allright, I searched this and couldn't find a post on this, so sorry if it has been posted. One of my friends, a fellow Socomer, wondered if you put a scope on a gun and it blocks the iron sights of the gun, does it decrease the guns accuracy in 3rd person? Well it does. I was in the armory game lobby, testing out scopes, when I swithced to the weapon and the accuracy went down, so I switched off the scope and it went back up, I was like holy crap. Scopes block the iron sights and decrease the accuracy of the gun in 3rd person(when you see you character), so the crosshairs spread more and more easily. The bigger the scope, such as the thermal or high, decrase the accuracy alot. While smaller ones like the 4x scope, low, and meduim, don't decrease it as much.

The same goes for M203's, and GL-36's. They make the gun more cumbersome and harder to aim, decreasing the accuracy, etc, etc.

If you dont believe me see for your self in the game lobby armory. The in-game armory doest show your weapons current accuracy when you highlight it like the game lobby one.

So watch what you pick....

Also keep in mind, silencers and grenade launchers can significantly decrease the range of a weapon too!

To see any attachments effect on a given weapon, just look at the weapon stats when you highlight the weapon (not when you are clicked on it, just when the yellow box is around it) After that you can see how any attachment effects the weapon by moving the yellow box back on it after picking an attachment. Also, yes any scope other than I think the red dot, makes your weapon less accurate in CQ. My favorite combination I came by so far has to be the M14. I dont use this combo but it makes for a good laugh, a M14 with bipod and laser has a 100% accuracy, too bad you would have to be prone and have eagle eyes to hit your target.

The STG with a front grip and laser attachment is almost as accurate as a SOCOM 2 gun. On the stats, it has it listed as almost full accuracy.
