The problem I run into most is it seems like, at this point in the age of the game or whatever, everyone has the timing of major rushing patterns figured out. Once I figure out where I'm spawning, I've got my thumbsticks jammed down while I'm still in the loading screen... So obviously, I'm on the move while everyone else is getting their bearings in the spawn. And I don't think I've EVER completely avoided that raining down of grenades. I'm usually the first one out of whatever exit I choose, too. I don't get how you guys get out and across the maps so fast that people are tossing nades completely over you.

When Playing A Map With Grenades You Should Wait Until You Hear Your Opponent Stop Throwing Grenades. Dont Rush Right Away. Cause You Will Most Likely Get Hit By One

Also what works is (razzor7 deserves credit for telling me this) is like on a small map, citadel, fault etc, you just rush right away without stopping and you kill the people while they are throwing their nades. It works most of the time.

Every opposing team has their own specific paths that the players like to rush to.

In most maps there are only around 2 to 4 routes that everyone takes without fail (especially the new guys).

What works for me is to try and estimate how long it takes for someone on the opposing team to reach a hot spot on the map. Then I'll throw my nades into that area, and usually I'll get 1 to 3 kills if I time it right.

Example: Devil's Road small - If you are a SEAL, rush up the mountain trail on the left hand side of the SEAL spawn area. It takes usually about 8-12 full seconds before the first enemies may reach that area. Throw a grenade or two down the path (try to bounce it off the cliff wall to get it around a corner). Also, make sure your character is in the standing position. Most people know that the nades will go farther, but for the new guys, the nades will fly farther in standing, and will have a higher arc in crouching.
