I remember the last time a guy said that to me... I just made him eat a 12 pump gauge shotgun cartridge in the face just to be happy I ruined his day on that match.... then he never was able to kill me with that boomstick again.
Also have you notice 12 pump gauge does a little more dmg than the m4 and TA,call me crazy but I think it does. Can someone tell me if its true or not?

Honestly, slugs are completely useless... no point in even carrying them. If your not able to hit them with your normal shotgun shots, the slug isnt going to be a 1 hit kill. And I garauntee that you won't be able to hit somebody twice with a slug unless they really blow. Also, don't say you can get a headshot with the slug because then it would be more effective to use a pistol.

I dont know I like the TA a lot. I was using it the other day and I was just owning with it. The fire rate seems slower to me than compared to socom 2 but its still good. You just have to try not to run out into open areas where you dont have the range of slug ammo.

I have to disagree while you may not kill them with one shot it does cut down some health.
Also I was wandering if the slug ammo can shoot through doors?
I'm sorry for posting in a dead thread (i'm sure theres a rule against it somewhere)but I just started playing S3 and am ecstatic about anything shotgun related. So far this thread has been of great use to me and would like some more information and tactics/tips for shotgun use. As for the question above someone said that slugs do go through doors but I'm not sure about the claim. Another thing I noticed that no one mention is that when you shoot a shotgun 3 seperate "bubbles" of BB's come out. Usually like an upside down triangle formation of maybe 15-20 BB's a piece. I shoot a lot of walls when I'm running around looking for people, trying to test out how accurate the guns are. So far my favorite shotgun is the M4 90. Anyways, continue on with shotgun talk
