Yes. Buy Combined Assault. Everything you have to unlock in S3 is unlocked in CA. All unlockables in CA are for single player/co-op.

oh! i didnt know that. i just got combined assault a couple days ago but i didnt bother to go through the characters online

Or copy one of your buddies Memory Card that has them all unlocked. That will save you a boat load of time!

I just beat SOCOM 3 a few times. iT WORKED OUT REALLY GOOD..
tOOK ME about a week to get all the cross talks but now I just need a psp to get the crazy white coated lady.
I loved the STG till I found that the RA14 is waaaaaaay better.

Yea, that was patched along time ago I think.

easy. first higlight the character that is locked. but dont do it too fast. press circle,triangle,x,traingle,>. now that should put u in the weapons section. the slots will say locked.enter into weapons picking and then press triangle to exit and go back to the characters. the person will still say locked but it will remain highlighted. then save and he will be available. oh and it wasnt patched cause i still use it every now and then.
