the point of that agurment was not to determine if it was realitic or not. The purpose of that was to show what a stupid comparison it is to compare camping with quick sniping. One is an exploit one isnt. The agurment about the game not being realistic to try and justify quick sniping. If you like to do it say you like to do it, dont be a ***** and use excuses why you think its ok.
And last time i check in socom if you get shot 3 times your dead. certain things they added for fun factor and some they added for realism. They didnt add quick sniping its just a by product of the game itself. Irish you're wrong...I don't think you could jump and zoom in whle in mid air on socom 1 or 2. EVEN IF you could the thing is where ever you jumped on socom 1 or 2 you would have to face that way you couldn't move. On CA you can jump and turn around in mid air.

Once you jumped on socom 1 or 2 you have to face that way you were when you jumped until you landed. Have you even played socom 1?

I'll admit quicksniping is fun when other people can't do it lol but I don't use it anymore since the clans I play with don't do it and since Zipper said it's a flaw.

As in quicksniping I mean I don't jump and zoom...I still run around and zoom fast but just without jumping. They could never patch that, it's been around since socom 1.

Ive run and jumped with an m4a1 in my hand, if i needed to fire it i could have. The rangers I have talked to said they wouldnt dare try firing a m82 while standing let alone jumping. The recoil alone would knock you back.

zipper admitted its an exploit in game function, you shouldnt be able to zoom in while in the air. Thats were the exploit exist.

LIke i said before its here to stay and I dont care, I just put a bullet in there face when they try and quick snipe.

Thank you! Now I don't have to compare the two, it's like comparing a Kenworth to a Kia...it doesn't work. I know that those who like to do it and get alot of their kicks from it are going to vigorously defend the right to do so, and those who view it as an "exploit" or "glitch" or whatever are going to lobby for its removal.
And the point I was trying to make earlier, is just because you can do it, and it hasn't been patched, doesn't make it alright to do. There was more than a few things that people could do that never got patched that many clans and ladders banned because it was shady at best. To say it isn't a glitch just because no action has been taken against it is a poor argument.
Let's take the f90 argument...by the rationale of your argument, the f90 is a glitch. So no one should use it. But because Zipper does nothing about it, it's not a glitch and therefore everyone should just accept it as a part of the game and live with it. Theoretically, and all that.

You were posting on how QSing is an expolit and camping isn't and posting "facts" about it. Do you think camping is realistic? Do real SEALs say "ok we killed one let's camp until the chopper comes". Do SEALs camp on roofs and say "let's just stay here". SEALs go slowly through their mission areas and are usually offensive. Also don't assume what people like and don't like. Can I QS? I can have some good kill streaks but I'm not that good. I rather use an assault rifle.

Sometimes you don't die from 3 shots. All the SMGs take 4 chest shots to kill, they of course shoot fast so it's hard to tell but trust me they do. I understand that they added many things for the fun fact and "real" factor. Can you find me a quote from an employee from Zipper saying QSing wasn't put in the game? I'm also not the one who took "direct orders" from a clan leader.

Oh, and the camping issue? I'm sure you have heard of the Scout Snipers in the Marines. I bet you a donut they don't go running around looking for kills. They wait patiently, sometimes for days if necessary. So yes, camping has a real-life application in today's military.

When he says camping is an exploit if you consider QSing an exploit is this:

QSing was something that Zipper didn't intend to put in the game - they made the game, set the limitations, physics, made it so you can turn in mid air. People found out you could shoot while in mid air and aim right before you do it. People started doing it with snipers, thus jump sniping got bigger. They said it's NOT a glitch, but they also didn't intend for that to be there.

Now, using the same logic for camping.
Zipper expected that when the map and round loaded, people would go out and run around the map and kill people. They didn't INTEND for people to spawn, hide in a bush, lay down down on the ground somewhere, corner camp some random wall, for the whole round. It's NOT a glitch, but they also didn't intend for people to camp the whole round.

It's not that hard of a concept to grasp, now is it?

Socom is meant to have fun, do whatever you want to have fun. If you think hiding in a bush is fun, then go ahead and do it, just dont complain when you get owned by someone who is better than you.
Personally I think it is a disadvantage to run around jumping with a sniper out, people just suck and cant aim. If im using a gun I feel like I have an advantage because its so easy, majority of the time someone is trying to quicksnipe me and I have a gun then I will kill them easily.
