I agree with that. They never get picked in gym class for the team.

Their parents ignore them so they need attention no matter if it is negative.

They have no self confidence so winning by cheating is the closest substitute.

They're virgins.

They can't win at any other online games so the manipulate the Zipper ghost town named Socom.

They like to read about how much it annoys everybody on this site.

And well I dont blame them in one respect... the game is getting so old and is getting so boring... if Zipper actually updated and fixed things, on a weekly basis the cheaters would have to find new cheats, to do this they would have to go into respawns and perfect their cheats, by the time they had them ready to use in real rooms, Zipper SHOULD have these nw cheats worked out and thus the cheaters never reach the ranked rooms... but Zipper has given up so they do reach the real rooms...

Never really thought of it like that. It's a good point I guess but Zipper's lack of effort doesn't excuse folks for being losers and resorting to cheating in a video game.

I think people cheat is to be in a dominant position of the game. Face it the Human race is about competitiveness and how we are always trying to be better than someone else. You people that posted in the earlier posts are ignorant to not see that fact. If you're in an office environment and you want a raise and you co-worker is a kiss arse suck up to the boss you either have to work harder or find a way to bring shame to your fellow worker in hope your boss frowns upon them making you look better. The same reason applies for Socom. The people that play the game and are good at it and work hard to get their stats just to end up with a butter bar kind of makes you feel discouraged. When on the other end of the spectrum a guy that can't play worth a shat that wants to be better than every one else will do what it takes to make himself feel more superior to his/her fellow gamers.

It's simple they cheat to fuel their own ego and to tell them selfs they are the best.
