Question: Problem with Wireless Mics & PS3

I am having troubles using a wireless mic with SOCOM CA and my PS3. I know it is possible to do as I've heard of people using them.

I have a bluetooth motorala headset. I've registered it with the PS3 and gone through those steps. I have configured my voice settings to use the headset and the PS3 picks up the mic when I talk into it.

The problem arrises when I try and play SOCOM. As soon as I leave the PS3 loadup screen and start loading SOCOM the mic seems to lose connectivity with the PS3. When I get online it doesn't register that I have a mic plugged in. I always have to switch back to my regular logitech mic.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to solve it? Has anyone encoutered the same problem as me or has anyone actually been able to use a bluetooth wireless mic on SOCOM with a PS3 - If so what did you go through to get it to work and what mic are you using?

Any input would be appreciated.

if you look a few pages back, you'll find exactly what you're looking for. there's already a thread concerning your issue.

The Wireless headset is not supported by the SOCOM 3 software. You cannot use it with this game. Sorry.

You can't use Bluetooth headsets with any PS2 game.
