Very true... I hear this from everyone that plays online games over a DSL connection.

Cable broadband > DSL "broadband"

I know the exact reason why, as it happened to me constantly until I fixed it.

Open your PS2 up. TAKE EVERYTHING apart, and dust it, clean it, but DO NOT break anything (a given I hope). Once I did that, everything went back to normal.

Tools:

Screwdriver - 4 edged

Duster - Clean it before you use it

Optional - Air spray/Can of air/Dust removal from a pressurized can.

Neccessities - Clean work area, clean your table off moron.

No magnets

Once you do this, you'll be fine. You probably have a fatty too I suppose.

- FU Creep. Don't touch me inappropriately.

- FU Deathabit. Don't shout inappropriately.

I have a DSL connection, and so does bob, and one of us was the host of war rooms about 99.9% of the time. Worked fine. DSL just depends on your provider, not the actual fact that its dsl.

Well then, it's not DSL that sucks, it's Verizon DSL that sucks.

Socom will lag, reboot, glitch, and have problems forever. As long as there are nerds around to mess with the games. Socom is out of my rotation as of today. Bye socom.

Socom doesn't restart or reboot because of nerd, its either becuase your patch is corrupted or the disc is scratched. You could also have a ****ed up disc like uttah did
