Did I Miss Something?

Other than the thread I made yesterday, I haven't visited these forums in about half a year. Now, people seem a lot more "upset" with S3, saying things like "RIP Socom, you won't be missed" and "Forget you ever played Socom." Did something happen?

SOCOM has not changed since it came out. THAT is the reason why people hate the game. No weekly updates since the the start of the year. NO patches since CA was released. It is retarted. That is why. I still play the game, and I alwas will.

yeah. it got boring for me. like too much hating and glitching and ********. its really hard to find a good game. but when i find good games, people are like "**** this game is gay. im out" and everyone else leaves. and also, all the people id play with stopped playing socom. kind of sad, it used to be really fun, but it wound down.

i still play, but not as often, only in hopes that it will improve and socom 4 (if it ever sees the light of day) will be back at like socom 1 level.

This game isn't what it use to be, and all the glitchers and people taking so many shots has just ruined the game. Not to mention the good players can't even show off their skill because of the extra clips, or noobs camping with ghillie suits.

It's mostly the people that use Code Majic and modded discs that ruin the game. Every game seems that someone is using one hit kill and evey other game some one is definitely using codes. In cased you haven't figured it out, common symptoms of modded discs include jumping 100ft into the air, no reloading, ultra fast fire rate, perfect accuracy, and use of restricted weapons. Common symptoms of Code Majic include infinite health, infinite ammo, one hit kill, shooting through walls, going under maps, and use of restricted weapons.

No. It's that it's changed way too much. Trying to be what it's not. And since S3 + CA came out around the same time as next-gen consoles, they tried to make it more "next-gen" like.

lawl. I would love if it hadn't changed.
