Now i look all over the board before i even decided to ask this..now.. everyone knows how socom is lag city, BUT is there a way where we can actually set up the router through ports and through web based utility so socom gets the best performace possible? I've been through the utility before and i saw gaming and other options so i figured i asked because i for one, like everyone would want a great connection while playing.
i always figured that. but i dont think so. i think in order to have REALLY good games, you need to all be on the same network. it also depends on the other players. not just you.

Yea my lag seems to very with the people i play with. sometimes i run circles around people and sometimes im just have people tele porting around, so i dont know might bemy drinking problem too( differnt post)
i agree that lag will never go away, but my issue is configurating my router so i get the best performance possible. i know you need to enable frame bursting, thats only because i'm using a wireless gaming adapter. maybe the ps3 has a better wireless chip inside because i'm only recieving 54 mbps but if your directly connected to the router you recieve 100 mbps.
