Map Pack 2

I will buy PS2 again and CA if the map pak 2 comes out... But till then, I will try to wait for S4 for PS3... COD3 on 360 was good for about 2 weeks, then everything started to get repetetive... Same with Gears of War, too much of the same and the people with sticky granades, that's really gay right there, they jump next to you, stick you with a grandade and jump away and you desperatly try to jump at them for a kamikazie kill, really gay... Got tired of that game after 4 weeks, but it's still quite addictive...

S2 on the other hand was superb for that time... Many levels, weapons, characters, many ways to die, respawn chaos, it should have been a standard for all shooters created since then... Ghost Recon AW, tried to copy their style and even on X360, they couldn't come close to Socom 1 fun... What a waste of gear if they can't put out a decent game to play...

I agree with you thier. The grenade tag on gears of war pisses me off!!, But you cant denie the fun factor of the game.

I think the best Socom that I was addicted to was Socom2...My miss all the maps from then. Enwopi, Sujo, Desert glory, Abandoned, Crossroads, and a few others I cant remember the names to. I played Scom then till the early hours of the morning and couldn't stop!

Some socom3 maps were great to for awhile...MY favorite was Convoy medley's! Especially Killing Fields!

Sony is already releasing map packs for REsistence The Fall of Man and we were promised a year ago that we would get them the next month, and we've only had two updates since then, one Being the Release of Combined Assault, face it the Map Pack story was just that, a story.

Get a ps3, or a 360 and let Zipper/Sony bury themselves.

I don't see any other map packs coming out.

Released every two months. The first one was released in June and it is now March.


If Map Pack 2 makes it out, I'll probably only play Socom for DG and Abandoned.

Sony themselves have nothing to do with Zipper doing the map packs, Sony just owns zipper and keeps them from talking about Socom4 or from developing for the 360.

The map packs probably won't come out any time soon, they're getting ready for the CA release and FTB2 release in other countries and are probably toooooo busy to try and **** with map packs.

Im not even good at sniping anymore lol. They should spend as much time on the EU stuff as they do on the map packs now, and vice versa for the map packs and they do on the EU stuff. I guarentee more people will buy the map packs then will play ftb2 and ca for EU people.

I don't want to sound like a record that repeats what others have already said but I too am from the school of thought that we will more likely than not never see Map Pack 2. Seriously, think about it, they officially announced the contents of Map Pack 2 on September 23, 2006 and stated it would be ready soon. Correct me if I am wrong but weren't there supposed to be 4 Map Pack released within 1-2 months of each other. Look at the trouble Zipper is having getting us the second Map Pack (which they probably never will). So, it looks like its gonna be Xbox 360 and higher quality games for me (Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Call of Duty 3, and so on). Farewell socom You were so pretty in your younger days
