Online problem... need help
I just recently bought Socom:Combined Assault. I get online with the game and when i click on the socom server it says i have to download an update. so i start downloading the update but it never will finish and says "server error encountered" and then it reboots my ps2. Why cant i download the update? Is the problem on my end or socoms end? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe your memory card is full, try clearing some unneeded stuff out

Socom has been having some server errors the past couple of nights. I would try downloading it in about an hour or try reseting you modem/router and any computers running in your house.

Ok ill wait a couple hours and try it again and see what happens. Hopefully it will work then.

Ok i finally got the update downloaded but whenever i get in a game it keeps bootin me out. i just boots me to the main page where u find a game...it dosent kick me all the way out. is this just the socom servers being crappy or is the problem on my end.

I just had to download another update too, it worked fine for me though. Joined games fine headset works fine.

I have another problem. I finally got the update downloaded and i can get online but anytime i get into a game i always boots me out. sometimes im in the game for 5 secs and sometimes im in a game for 5 mins but it always boots me out. Does anyone know why it keeps bootin me out. It dosent disconnect me all the way because when i get booted out it just takes me back to the briefing room. It dosent kick me all the way off the internet. Any advice would be appreciated.
