What's the deal with the cheating?

Fellas - help me out if you can. We have a Combined Assault room we play in every night and there's a guy we invited to play who just seams to get ridiculous one shot kills (with or without a scope) all the time and needs to be shot with a sh*tload of bullets/clips to die. Is he cheating? What kind of cheat codes are out there and how can we tell if he's using them? Thanks.

It's most likely a chaeting device(I.E. codemajic or a mod disc) or a very laggy and lucky person. You can get lucky headshots a lot of times but not every person you aim at so in this case this person was probbaly using a cheat device. If you see someone like that try to vote them out, if that doesn't work just set up a new game as people who cheat are ***es and shouldn't ruin your fun.

If he's just getting instant kills, it's kind of hard to tell whether or not they're cheating. More than likely they're not, because people that use cheating devices bring out the big guns (automatic RPG's, sky walking, invisibility, automatic sniper rifles, invincibility, etc.) instead of just using a one-shot kill cheat only.

My guess is that he has his crosshairs at headshot level and runs around like that and is just lucky enough to get the headshot. I was playing with a guy yesterday and he had his F90 out and would kill me from 40m away with one shot. It was annoying, but he wasn't cheating. He dropped just like everyone else, he just had the right height for his crosshairs.

As far as him taking lots of shots, that seems to be happening alot (whenever I play). Maybe he's just a natural sponge (just the right connection to make him move right but to sponge), and with those, there's nothing you can really do.

So until he starts flying around shooting off 50 RPG's a second while dropping grenades every square foot, just chalk it up to good luck.

If people who had code majic were smart(which theyre not) they would just use 1 shot 1 kill so people dont know theyre using it 100%. Or they could just use etags.

I've played with people who use it with normal guns. I remember this guy at fault was on my team and in 3 rounds he killed 17 opposing players with 1 death. The last round I was the only person one my team that died and I was watching him play. When the seals were dead he jumped from the platform all the way down on the little table in the seals spawn at the end of the round and didn't lose any heath. So people like to cover it up a lot when they play

Sounds like he is just good. If he can die he's not cheating. Well he could be but he's probably just good.

Have you considered they have infinite health off and only have on one shot kills to avoid being found a cheater?

I remember in S1 that there was a cheat for all headshots and you could only be killed by a headshot. It was hard to spot at first, but then when the guy is eating your mags and grenades and still alive you knew. Maybe its something like that.

Most people ARE smart enough to use etags and instant headshot. But there is still plenty of worthless ******s that will go all out with their cheating and get the auto snipers etc.

Alot of times when people go 18-1, 19-1, i think after they're first death they turn on invincibility and use that 1 death as an excuse that they weren't cheating.
