It would totally ruin what SOCOM has been about since the release of SOCOM I. Third person is only type of shooter I like to play. As I like to see my player running around the map. That just works for me.

It really won't matter to me unless it comes out in an Xbox 360 version.....lol

I've always prefered TPS games....but am coming to appreciate more First person shooters also....the new Rainbow 6:Vegas is Awesome!

Yeah I also enjoy some FPS. Halo (no flamming), some of the Tom Clancey games, things of this sort I enjoy to play. However socom is all about third person, thats why socom is so successful, because it went away from the majority (FPS), and became successful being a third person shooter. If they do make it a first person shooter, I really hope they still give you the option to go the classic third person as well. Socom now gives you that chance, but in the first person view you can't even see the gun in the screen. So if they do go for a real first person shooter look, and only that, I really would have to think twice about continuing to play socom.

First Person would be disgusting. I hate playing Night maps and Aftershock just because I have to be in First Person to see anything.

FPS = Massive fan base lost
Im down with Blaze if they went to fps I would bomb something of zippers HQ, personal homes, ok maybe not that far but would not buy it. even know i spend half my time in first view while quick sniping, still i like my options
