well whats the point of getting higher ranks.. its to show that your pro right and not a chicklet .. well instead of just ranks when you play alot.. i think you should get items when you get a higher rank..

for an example you play a looong time and your rank is an eagle or somthing.. all you have for show is a badge picture thingy that shows your pro.. but wouldnt it be cool if you spawn with like a REALLLY BIG BAZOOKA that only eagle rank peoples have? then that would really show your pro and stuff.. kinda like rpg where the more seals you kill or merc. the more money you get lolz then you can buy things with the number of kills you get and stuff..

ionno about you guys but i think that would make me more addcted too socom..

Yeah, so lets see your idea here.

People who have better ranks, get guns the rest of the people don't. Before this could even be accompished, THE RANKING SYSTEM WOULD HAVE TO BE FIXED. Alot of people on this game are pros, but they cannot be seen as one with rank. Therefore, how would be able to get the gun. The people that exploit the ranking system would be getting the better guns. Your idea isn't very good.

The first problem is crappy maps.If any of you guys remember when S1 came out,every single map was good (okay deathtrap but it grows on you) Now its like you just hope the next map in the medley is good. Some of the maps are just too one-sided and others just blow. I remember in S1 and most of S2 I'd be like i'm done after this game and I just had to play the next map.Now I have no problem powering down for the night. Second problem is the game is too damn sniper friendly, I mean I sometimes snipe if I am in the mood but how many times do you see nothing but snipers on the opposing team? The stat thing is an easy fix if they auto erase impossible stats(ie.24,000 kills 3 deaths) most of the rest will be cool. I hope that they make the next installment more like the old days, grenades and gut shots knock you down ect. You know what I'm talking about.
