Solution to the Turbo Friend Invite Glitch

If you do log off of your name while getting the glitch you will be unable to log back onto it until they decide to take you off of turbo or their ps2 is turned off.

HOW TO DODGE THE TURBO INVITE:

1. Leave the briefing room and join a different briefing room
2. Accept their friends invite
3. Immediately remove the friend and add them to your ignore list

After you do this, they can no longer turbo you from that ignored verified name. If they switch names to try to get you again, they will have to relocate what briefing room you’re in.

Hope this helps rid the community of those who partake in this annoyance of a glitch.

First, this is an excellent post. Though the title needs to be changed to "How to get rid of the turbo glitch", and then stickied for future forumers.

The Turbo Glitch is when a player purposely repeatidly sends you a friend request. They send so many so quickly that it can flood your account, and keep you from doing pretty much anything online. It's not a widespread glitch, as you've got to be a rare bread of super loser nerd to pull it off, but it is lethal when properly done.

It's kinda like being able to boot people in the old AOL days.

A turbo invite is different because it is an invite that you receive over and over again, but it don't show up in your invite box.

If it doesn't show up, then how do you accept it and then remove them from your friends list? etc.

Nah it happens during the game also, at least thats how it was when it happened to me. it sent me thousands of friends invites all night (in the lobby and in the game) but the next day it was fine.

hey i kinda posted that solution on gb. like on crimsins thread, but he had a diffrent problem.

because this has happend to me several times. so yeah accpet it, take them off, then type their name on your ignore list. you kinda need a keyboard because this has to be done
