4 map packs

Ok, fist off I'd like to apologize if this has been said before. I did several searches before I posted this and didn't see anything, so here it goes.

Apparently, there are going to be at least 4 map packs released for SOCOM 3.

Now, first off for the dumbasses saying: "Well it will be years before those come out!", ITS NOT. It took such a long time for the first pack to come out because they had to fix the billing process in the Community section. It wouldn't surprise me if all the packs are done already, who knows.

Anyways, back on track, in an interview with Seth Luisi, Senior Producer at Zipper, said that they were planning on releasing 4+ map packs. He never gave specific dates on these, but suggested at 1 pack every 1-2 months.

Now, for the other morons reading this saying: "Well, that dosen't make sence, SCA (Socom: Combined Assault) is coming out soon." Wrong, you will be able to play the S3 map packs on SCA. Read the SCA section for that stuff though...

But now for the rest of you saying "Whatever, it's proboably just some kid saying stupid stuff to get people excited" Wrong again. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/715/715098p1.html

And yes, this has been posted before. Not as a new thread, but in a few different threads. One instance is here, 3rd post down. But it has been posted long before that too.

You also might want to try the sticky at the top of this forum(as well as posting map pack info in that forum instead of creating a whole new thread), the Map Pack(s) Discussion and FAQ...that's not just for the first map pack that came out. :smile:

All they are doing is working on the Ecommerce portion of the map packs. That's why it's taking so long, the map pack has been done.
