There will be many map packs, with many of the maps from S2. I would doubt S1 maps would show up. (besides those in the S2 game).

You are correct. Even though some Socom 1 maps changed in the versions of them on Socom 2, the only change on them is lighting (day or night), which you will have the option of making on all the maps we get anyways..

I don't think they will put in Blizzard or anything like that, just becasue of the fat there's no camo for snow levels other than the bright white chick. They aren't going to introduce new characters into SOCOM 3(im assuming..), however snow is coming back in SCA!(I seen it in one of the images)

Well they did say something along the lines of "We will also be introducing Socom I/II favorites as well as brand new Socom III maps" in the very original news post. You can almost expect Crossroads and Desert Glory seeing as how they won the poll.

true, but i believe the next map pack will only include the new s3 maps seeing as how that was announced prior to the poll. but i hope to god we at least get crossroads and/or desert glory.

No disrepect but, I really don;t think the results of that poll are going to decide what classic maps are going to be on the next pack. Personally, I think we're all going to be surprised by what they release and I think some may be disappointed, well some of us anyway. I'ts funny on Socom 2 Blizzard wasn't on top of my list of favortes , but now I feel different bring on that SNOW......

All of the maps from Socom 1 were in Socom 2, though slight changes were made to them.

As said, Pack #2 is supposed to be "classic maps". Whatever that means. Original documentation stated there would be three map packs total.

#3 is supposed to be more classics with brand new never before seen maps.

They're being spaced out between now and the release of Socom: Combined Assault.
