Password retrieval

Does anyone know any way to get your pw if you have forgotten it? I created a new name, which the game set as my default, and now the quick sign on goes into that name. I used to always use that feature to get into that name and so I ended up forgetting the pw. I called Sony and got a message to just create another name. Anyone have any ideas?

Click on "Forgot Your Password?", fill in the fields..that is, if you remembered those.

It say's in the faq section online you can't get it back if you forget it, next time write it down and put it next to your ps2. by the way that sucks.

I'll never understand how someone forgets their password. I mean thats why it's called a password, it's not something that you forget or lose.

If you forget your password i believe that it is your fault and that you should have to create a new file and i believe that that is what socom has done.,...

yea if you go to the scea website and click on forgot password, you have to answer your secret question, keep in mind it needs to be the same lettering format that you used on your credit card info(caps lock ect), once you do this it sends a new password to the e-mail address that you gave in your cc info as well, you take the new password, go back to the scea site, enter your username (exactly how it is on socom 3) and enter your new password... once you have successfully logged in, click on the edit option on your scea profile, enter your user name (as it is on socom 3) your old password (the new one that zipper gave you) your new password (ONE YOU CAN REMEMBER) and re enter your new password and it will change it.... if you log onto socom and you use the auto login option it will tell you that the password you are using does not match your name, simply input your new password and save it to your memory card..... thats it man hope it helps ....NOTE: if you try logging in without doing the first few steps you wont be able to log onto socom 3 so complete all those steps before trying to log on ....lates.....-undead-
