Exclamation PS2 reseting?
Im not having these problems but a lot of my freinds are. There ps2s just reset to the screen where you got to press X. Well if your having this problem you can thank good ole zipper .
If you have every heard of someone glitching and they say they "stopped their disk" and they just stink a card in their ps2 so there disk would stop and they could drive under the map, through the map, etc...
And the last patch patched that (i dont know if it was intentional). Well ya they patched a glitch but guess what :smile: .
Now if someone is playing normally and there ps2 messses up just for a few seconds there ps2 is resarted.

-And i did post a glitch but its patched so i didnt see the harm (it was for a good cause)

And I made this thread to inform you and so you dont go out and buy a whole new ps2 just because you ps2 restarts a lot (its not your fault or your ps2's)

- So the problem is that somehting either in your ps2 or on your disc is makeing it stop for just enough time where socom thinks your chesting so you will reset.

-And dont asnwer "How can they patch somehitng thats in your ps2" because i dont know the answer but they did so deal with it...

if you try to go in the lobby or fast login and it goes back to the main menu u mean. yes thats ur ps2. u have to clean the lens thats wut i did and know it works fine

NO its not his ps2, its the new patch that was released. I do find it hard to belive that Zipper would let something like this get pass them. However, if its not fixed before the end of the trial I believe I will trade in my ps2 and get a 360 or something.

I just can't take this anymore, they don't post weekly news or what the patches fix. I know its a free service, but this is ridiculous. Even with a free service you can still keep in touch with the consumers. If it takes $50 a year to get it then its worth it. But I digress...

The problem is not the ps2, or the flash drive, or memory card. I tried reconfiguring my modem, to reconfiguring my socom settings, and other things I thought would help, but nothing does. Only Zipper can solve this solution, but I don't even know if they know about the problem.

this same **** is happening to me, I was going to make a topic about it but then I saw this one. At random times my ps2 either freezes or goes back to where you load the update and its annoying. It even happened once when I was playing single player. And it has only happened since the last patch. I can't really play now because it happens all the time.

It's not happening to me but it is happening to a couple of my clanmates... Its very annoying especially when your War-ing & they get disconected...

yeah i have been having the same problem as well with this reseting crapp...i was hoping to come on here and see if there is a solution but i guess not...i cant play basically either...i run a clan on S3 and i cant even play becuz of this stuff....who knows what my clan is thinking right now lawl..but other than that. it only happens to me when i try to load into an actual room like say a Small 11-3 room...i click to enter it...music startss skipping around, and then it just goes quiet and my whole game reboots...i dunno if its my disc, but i am gonna trade this one in, and get credit for it and buy a new one....but if its not whatever is happening better get fixed soon...or i am gonna get reallll mad ....not that i am not now, but even worse..

i saw a guy freeze for 20 seconds.. and shot him with a sniper.. then 30 seconds later it said enemy down.. i think he had to press X, or something cuz he was talking about it in the lobby

PLEASE QUIT POSTING THIS STUFF. PLEASE. Everyone knows that there is a problom with the patch. People need to chill out, call Zipper or something and let them know whats up. They'll fix it soon enough.
