The player i still have number 1 on my list of socoms best was 11 at the time i started my list. I haven't seen him in awhile since the clan broke up a couple of yrs. ago but, he was the real deal. I have no problem accepting Revolutions post at all.

ok, the conclusion reached is that their skill is based upon time played. that doesn't mean that their natural ability at games is higher; like i stated.

I was like "woah man take a chill pill, we were not talking **** to your kid, we were if anything complementing him." and then the dad just said "oh" and left the room.

Yes it was a pretty wierd and awkard story.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not sayign that there arn't these type of people around because I know at least one member here dropped out of school to play socom *cough,cough* I would just like to say that although I do play socom often, its not all I do, sometimes I leave my PS2 on with it logged in perhaps some of your buddies do, but I get my fair share of physical activity. I BMX, skateboard. and play nicky (which is really fun with drunk, high or crunk)

Anyway thats the end of my rant *pauses for applause*

possibly proof that the dad was playing and not the kid. i know that i am the onl one that can hear out of the headset, unless someone is sitting next to me.

I am 13. My clan is a strictly 12-21 years old and we are bad ***. We have a 12 year old girl and is awesome. We are all average+ as for the kids need more time outdoors. I will admit that maybe i am a lil chubby lol but i play lineman in football and workout every morning and run at a football workout thing. For the the rest of the day i do chores like mow the lawn if i only have a few i get em done and play some S3. IT IS POSSIBLE FOR YOUNG KIDS TO BE GOOD! My old clan on S2 has a guy with a 6 year old son that pwned my *** with a 552sd every round. Pissed me off but couldnt say F-U or anyhting do to him being so young. SO dont under estimate anyone. And those of u that make fun of kids that sound like hamsters (me being said as one of them) dont cause most of the time we will switch teams and own ur arse.

Oh it's possible no doubt. Any of you that think otherwise are wrong. I can understand why young children could possibly be better at video games than teens and adults. For one I remember back when i was younger and the N64 was around I would become entranced by the games and hours would pass like seconds. Gun shots could go off and I wouldn't notice. Now that I've gotten older I can't do this anymore, I especially have a bad habbit of looking at the clock or checking the score screen very frequently.

Teen and Adults also just don't care as much. They want to win sure, but the younger generation (IMO) needs to win. I have 2 nephews 6 and 8 that play FPS and can own me pretty well. I know they've been playing since they could press buttons and move a joy stick.

Also, i don't quite remember who said it but said kids need to go out and throw rocks at cars and knock on doors and hide. Wtf? We don't need kids to cause chaos and mayhem, sure going outside to play is fine but they don't need to be destructive. In fact I belive an online game like Socom could be good for development for younger kids. Being exposed to a mainly adult community if definitely a good thing. Except for the few racist as.sholes and all the cussing it could help them grow up and mature much faster.

I obviously don't think playing video games is wrong, but I do think everyone should go out and do something every once and a while. She plays for 2 days straight with no sleep, I can't do that even when I try. I'm 16 and I want my sleep.

Oh, ofcourse. Playing for 2 days straight is unacceptable. I've done that with a video game maybe 3 times ever. I coudn't care less if it was my kid but only if it was a very rare thing. An 11 year old doesn't need to sit up a play Socom 3 100+ hours in one week.
