I have to say that these maps are a breath of fresh air, especially since I never played Socom 1 nor 2.

I like all of the maps sort of and after hours is now my favorite map on the game. Last bastion has to much high grass thats taller than you are. And people just lay down in it. Liberation I like except if im not playing with my clan than everyone corner camps with f90s/m203s. After hours is a perfect map in every way, I love it.

This isn't the finished product, un the next week there will be changes. They will fix out the bugs and do what they can to make it much better. Give Zipper a break atleast we got maps, they may not be up to great but they are good enough to play and have fun on am i correct?

The new maps, meaning After Hours and After Hours only, will keep me playing Socom for a little while longer. I'm just glad that they found a way to actually release the maps, and hopefully they will work out any bugs that arise from this release, figuring out how to stop them from happening for the release of much better Socom 2 maps (hopefully )

I like the maps, especially After Hours. The other two are alright but they can turn into a campfest real quick.

new maps

i personally like all the maps. I think they all are great new maps. i dont like the vehicles and expansion, i like the maps just they way zipper released them.. they are plenty big for 16 on 16.. i like the closeness...i dont like having to run to eastbumfuk to get to a control point, or a bomb site.... the maps are each unique in their own way.... i like liberation for its close quarters fighting, and how it incorporates distance fighting as well.... i like last bastion for its whole setup..... i love being a seal and infiltrating the castle from all sides its great.... and the tall bushes allow you to evade any person shooting you in the back and chasing you down....and afterhours is a genious urban map, with rooftops ideal for snipers, plenty of buildings to go into, and plenty of close quarters, and long distance fighting.... all perfect maps, alot of the stuff in these maps is what a lot of the S3 maps lack... most of the S3 maps are either good for close quarters fighting, or long distance fighting..... close quarters fighting in S3 at its best is in citadel, but we all know how laggy that map is when you have more then 8v8.... and fault is the same way but we all know how fault operates as well.... distance fighting is pretty much every other map except for maybe crucible small, and boneyard small.... but the new maps allow for all aspects of game play which i find way more interesting then just one map with only one way to fight your opponent.... thats my take on things......oh yeah the only thing i dont like is how long it takes the maps to load...i waited almost 3 minutes for last bastion to load this morning....-undead-
