It would have been nice to see these maps have the same settings as the regular maps with the 16 vs. 16 and vehicles, and expanding the areas for the larger amount of players would be something that keeps us coming back for more. This may be some kind of test (I hope) because if they are only intending to release a copy of the original with the restrictions of the previous versions I will not be spending any more money on map packs. It's sad to say that socom3 is different enough from the first two that I think they should have opened these maps up a little and give us something old that will be seen as something new, they have a good base to work from they just need to make them fit in the new format.

The new maps are great. After Hours seems laggy at times, but other than that they make it feel like a new game again.
Last Bastion is crazy with all the tall grass and all the tunnels and rooms in the castle.
Liberation is like a giant maze in the back alleys, so many places to hide out.
It's easily worth the 6 bucks.

I like Liberation and After Hours more than Last Bastion. After Hours is a little laggy when the F90s and machine guns come out but other than that I'm gonna enjoy playing the hell out of them.

last bastion i didnt like, after hours i enjoyed alot and liberation was ok. this being the first time of playing them at all, that was my impression. this does however get me excited in hopes for dg, cr, ns, vig, or ff to be in the next map pack. hopefully that'll only be about 1 month away.

I just downloaded them about an hour ago on my lunch break. I only had time to play After Hours and Liberation and personally, I loved them both. They are fun and new and put some excitement back in to S3. I am ready to go home and play a full night with my clan and get familiar with them. Good job Sony/Zipper, I'm impressed.

Yo Fraggin,
Donginator here, see you on tonight
UGK clan rules!!!!!!!!!!!
I tihnk the maps are okay, I was completely lost last night playing them. I didn;t get to play one of them yet, so hopefully tonight.
Last Bastion is kind of too big just for 16 players, plus too much camping.

I was actually a little disappointed. Not with the maps, but with the lack of expansion. I originally thought they were going to expand the maps in order play 32ppl. And put vehicles on them. But I guess not. They are exactly like the maps from S2, so I was expecting some little tweeks. They are nice though. I also can see Last Bastion becoming a serious camp fest, which if you don't like that, you probably won't play that map. I can see After Hours becoming a granade-athon at the start. But overall, I am pleased that we finally have these maps to play on. I just hope they do some tweeking with the S1 & S2 maps that are supposed to be in pack #2.

Im not upset they didnt really change them or anything, the night and day options and different game types are pretty nice. But they were pushed back SO long, that you think they could of put 32 people on them. OR ATLEAST fix the glitches. These are already the glitchiest maps on socom 3. 80% of the time that I playe liberation, I guy shoots me from on top of the map, or from below the map.

I'm satisfied with how everything has turned out so far. After Hours and Liberation are both awesome, and Last Bastion is okay, but nothing great. Hopefully the lagging and freezing will quiet down as less people download the maps and such.
Annnnnd now, it's time to wait for Map Pack #2!
...
Just kidding, I'm happy with this pack for now...
