I kind of understand what you're saying here. The maps for SOCOM 3 don't make sense because they are ripped straight from the single player game, unlike in the past SOCOM games. Also, the whole "let's make maps that can be played on any mode" kind of sucked the whole immersion feeling out of the maps. Not that it's bad, but they should've put something in each map that would make each mode feel unique for that map. Not just slap the modes into the maps.

lol eulogy gets what im saying theres a billion things that makes no sense like 50 caliber sniper rifle that kills in one shot and a 50 caliber pistol that doesnt when there both 50 caliber i bet yall could think of more things that dont make sense oh and p.s. it would make sense for the creators of the socom 3 to read the forums about SOCOM 3. but as know people are extremely stupid and dont listen to the advice of how to make there game better like for starters have it make sense

Wow

WOW i know i dont post much because i just read and think. But this one i just have to post. Use ur imagination bro i know that im 13 so i prolly have a bigger imagination then u but if u play single player then u know that the blackwoods part is a terr. training field... so maybe we invaded their field and they are countering the seal invasion. that is what i think. But i mean it could even be thought of maybe it a drug transfering place (hene the train tracks) and they are rebuiling the tracks and we are sent to blow up their supply shack? just be creative.

lol i like the replys on what i said about blackwoods ive played single player it makes me wonder how you can go from a open field with 2 houses , a barn and a windmill enter a small cave and end up in extremely thick woods where if you look closely barely any trees are ground level most of the trees in the woods are at least 6 feet above the trail on giant mounds of dirts and the trail has been walked so much it looks like concrete . the only way for something to look like that is 1000s of years of water erosion and allso ive personaly have never heard of a railroad track going through the middle of a forest with streams and waterfalls . next time you play black woods take some time from killing and look around for a while and youll realize something is out of place

If you look in harvester, sometimes a glitch appears where the fog over the area where blackwoods should be dissapears and you can see several trees, n entire forest.

But none of the socom series makes sense. Thats what makes it fun. Now there are many things that make socom 3 feel different and in my opinion less fun than socom 2, but thats in a different topic.

they're 2 completely different rounds, the rifle round is a .50 bmg(browning machine gun), the pistol round is the .50ae(action express).

these are the empty shell casings from both, which i've fired on numerous occasions.

the rifle round.


the pistol round.


and now the size comparison between the 2.


see, there's a perfectly logical explanation for every problem you've spoken about so far.

yes, very true. maybe just a little difference would have made these maps more enjoyable, but i dont mind

read Warlocks post . .and then think - - how would a 50 cal sniper round fit into a pistol? maybe you should also try to make sense. then they can read it and understand rather than get a headache from your run on sentences.

you must be like 8. what about in Nazi Germany. they had train tracks runiing through the countryside carrying heavy artillery. its called a supply route. thats why its there, because someone dumb like you is going to say "nah, they would never put a train in the woods because it makes no sense".

Because after harvester the seals go down a tunnel into the map known as fault, that is why its the same camo as Harvester. After one comes out of the tunnels of fault the seals enter into blackwoods.

I still dont see how this makes Socom 2 better then 3, unless of course you use this retards logic.
