Why do people hate control mode?

I think its good.

I am prolly one of the very few who thinks its cool...I mean planting it a places to get the area and stuff will need teamwork to get tehm all and to help each others back...

But I noticed control maps are horrible..the only good one is killin gfields and harvester..there wide apart but still easy to control..This mode has got to be the most hated..but why?

Because people think it's too hard. They rush and get killed, and don't have enough patience to stake out the area, and then go for the plant.

I kinda like that mode. Suppression been first, then demo, then control, I dont play any of the others.

Control points is pretty easy on Waterworks for both teams, you just have to be the quickest team. The most annoying thing about Control and perhaps the biggest reason why I dont play it is the freaking woman who keeps saying "Nav point secure" every time one is set. I know its helpful and I can just turn my sounds down but that woman's voice is so boring it unreal.

I just don't like control mode because it's just camping. Once someone puts down a marker, they usually just camp for the rest of the round.

That's why you have to be tactical with everything you do.

I like control points you can't just run and gun like a noob. This mode actually takes skill. Sure people camp at the control points but that is something called strategy. It is fun to play with people you know and actually have a plan instead of just running in and getting killed and complaining about "that stupid camper with his SR-25". You have to actually think ahead, thinking that is why people don't like this mode. Yep I'm that person sitting back in my ghillie with a claymore on the control point waiting for some impatient idiot.

control points are dumb..
they get the point then they camp it..
later on, u come up and then u have 2-3 people in your face cuz they are camping the control point.
thats wat ruins control points are campers behind boxes/walls ect.

Yes, because it's so hard to realize people are going to camp and it takes too much time to try to clear out a spot.

I enjoy respawn Control Points. I'll play normal CP, but I prefere respawns.

People just sit and camp with the crosshairs on it until someone comes and bam from like 100 feet away

I like control maps but only on certain maps. my favorite is definately devils road b/c theres so much you can do all in one map. you have tanks, tows, technicals and dune buggys also you can snipe out in the open or run and gun in the hills. i like it b/c theres plenty of options and you cant really camp b/c theres always a nav point you need to go and get. people who camp most of the time will win a round or two but will most likely cause there team to lose the game.

Other good control maps are blackwoods (night only), tidal fury and harvester.
