Anyways, I usually don;t have many interruptions. If I do, it's a friend calling me or something along those lines. I really do hate it when my dad decides it's time for the garbage to go outside, and tells me to do it. He doesn't understand how much I really like video games.

Its weird when your talking on the mic and someone walks by your room and hears you talking at like 2am with noone else in your room and your in a breifing room so its like completley silent. My brother came to my door the other day and asked who are you talking too? And my cell isnt working and the house phone was in the kitchen, so I really dont know what he thinks Im doing lol..
That happens a lot of times if I play at my parents place, they don't get the mic and online play concept and are always like "who are you talking to?"
I usualy don't get bothered by people, the times I do is when someone walks by the screen when I'm in the middle of fighting with someone. Telephone calls I would say are the worst distraction because they always seem to come at the worst time when I am alive and important ish is going on.
Most players are bothered when playing Socom at one time or another. Why is this you ask? Its because you are playing for hours at a time and its inevitable that someone or something (phone, door bell, ect) will interrupt your play.
My family doesnt really bother me when I play. Since I play socom maybe once a month or once every two months, they dont really care if I play. If I play for a while they might say something though.
Take 40 bucks, go to Radio Shack, buy a modem, call your cable company and have them provision it, then play anytime w/o people annoying you with you in your room.
Now to answer your question, no my family doesn't. My room has a door plus a lock. And I turn my phone off when I don't want to be bothered.
