Weapon Restricitions

the stupidest game ive ever been in is a game were people were telling the other people who r trying out that they cant use assault rifles but the clan can. im like wtf so i dont listen and use it anyway and get voted out.

God i hate some people here. Its not about skill or any of that ********. Yes, your correct, you paid for the freakin video game, no ones stopping from doing anything...the point is, you will have absolutly NO respect from anyone, and no one will want to play with u because you ruined a fair game by being cheap. Some people dont care, but deep down, they dont like you. They dont want to be your friend or play with you.

When they put simple restrictions, all there doing is saving u the embarrasment of being told off and disrespected. You actually think someone will let you in there clan if your running around with a GL, ruining everyone elses fun, screaming, WELL I PAID FOR THE GAME!!!!! TOO BAAD!.

NOPE! But they will make fun of and hate. I guess if you dont like the people your playing with, go ahead, make things difficult. BUT....just imagine what you can say to them if you beat there a$$es with a crappy gun instead of cheap ****.

I like to play in small rooms that have no explosives, no grenades, no subs, and no Machine guns. The Explosives basically explain themselves. Grenades on Small maps are cheap at times, like Citidel and such. There aren't many places you can go without being killed by a grenade. The Subs and Machine guns are cheap, because all you have to do is run and shoot. You will most likely kill someone with them.

Although, if they are turned on and someone uses them. I ususally don't vote them, or complain. I chose to play in the room and I deserve to be killed by one of them.

My clan and I were joking around one time talking about a room where it would be restricted like this (obviously not real) :

No Grenades
No Snipers
No Explosives
No Rifles
No Machine Guns
No Sub Machine Guns
No Mines
No Pistols
No Rockets
No Guns period
No Shooting anything
No Killing Whatsoever

lol so pretty much all you could do to eachother is run around and bump into eachother haha that would be so hilarious. We actually were in a 4v4 clan war and the other clan asked us what the restrictions were going to be and we said those lol.

The whole point of weapon restriction is for people to play in rooms that they can enjoy. Don't like the F-90? FINE. There's a ton of rooms with SMGs turned off. Don't like grenades? FINE. There's a ton of rooms with grenades turned off. You can see where I'm going here. There should be no reason for someone to complain about a weapon someone is using (unless they're glitching), because you have the option to find a room that doesn't have that weapon. In other words, all the complainers out there need to shut the **** up and find a different room. Your whining is ruining the experience for other people.

People need to think more openly about this subject. Did something as simple as personal preference ever occur to anyone? Half the "restricted" games on the servers are a result of this. Some people like to snipe, so they make sniping rooms. Some people like to be up close and personal, so they make the room shoty's only. Others simply want to get in practice with a particular class of weapon, like pistols. If I like Harvester, but am tired of it being a sniper fest, I'll make a room and disable sniper rifles. You get the picture. Assuming that restricted rooms are a result of noobish behavior is just plain ignorant. If you don't like the room, make another one to suit your tastes, plain and simple.

Dude, What if your in a room with 10 of your clan members?

What if your in a room with alot of friends?

Dude, consider all of the variables before typing...

~Now for my opinion on this~
Even if the gun isn't turned off, I will get mad sometimes by an F90, Why?

Because, Its basicly an automatice OSOK, its just that fast, and to accurate at close range.

And, 90% of the time, The people who use them are inmature 9 Year olds (And OTTER, yes I'm young but I said inmature..so..don;t say anything about my age-_-)

Even if the weapon is not restricted, I have every damn right to get mad if they're spawn camping me with it...And, I would bet, All the people who use F90s regularly had to use a 552 or HK-36, HK5, or any other CQB guns wouldn't get nearly as much kills as they do F90, because the F90 takes no skill, whatsoever, all you have to do is hold down R2 and move the right anolog stick, and BAM you get a kill.

Dirt > People who constantly use F90s, Constantly using GLs, M203s or Airburst..

I understand if your using a under-barrel explosive attachments if your trying to take care of vehicles, or getting spawn camped like hell..But in clan wars, or when your not at a disadvanteg, you just ruin the game..

And for all those people who are like "WELL LIEK OMG I PAYED 50$ FOR THIS GAME SO I WILL USE WHATEVER I WANT!!!!!11!!111!1!11"

Well, I payed 50$ bucks to smart one, so when you ruin the game, your putting my 50$ to waste..

So, when you use Game-ruining weapons, you make your money useful but everyone elses money in the room useless..

Just learn how to use different guns, the 552, front grip and suppressor or rifle lazer is great for CQB, and so is the HK5.

I got called a noob tonight because I went 112-32 on a Citadel respawn. I was told the 552 (what I was using) was a noob gun. I laughed and went about my merry way.

If you don't like the way the room is setup, the weapons people are using, how people are playing or what they are saying, then leave.

Socom 3 enables you to find and make games to suit your personal tastes. I suggest you utilize its greatness.

whow in Denmark we have to pay 86.27$ for the game, (without headset)

and we just make rooms with restrictions or finds out what me may use in the lobby.. and no one finds it unfair that they can't use the F90 or the GL's, because they are overgeared (wonder if that was misspelled)
