The team you were playing against most likely had a lot of players who's rating was drastically lower than yours. So it's like you went to the Special Olympics and kicked everyones a.ss.

i still dont get the rating system. i won 2 games the other night and my rating wasnt affected. i entered a game today and it was 30 seconds left in the last round and we lost and my rating went down. dont worry about your rating.
I have no problem if some clown wants to spend 2 minutes restarting his PS2 just to avoid a loss being recorded.
Aborts I am fine with counting.
I get what they had in mind with the ranking system. It's a good idea; reward you for defeating same or higher rated foes, penalize you for defeating lesser rated foes. In reality, it just didn't work out that well.
they need to take out quits and disconects. people cant play 24/7 and not have to abort at some point.
If they eliminated disconnects, which they should, when you had to quit you could just shut the PS2 off and it'd be a disconnect.
Aborting is easier than disconnecting in the sense that it takes little time to get into another game. When you disconnect, you have to wait for the PS2 and S3 to boot up, then to log in.
