An Idea to try and stop glitching

I know you mean well with this but whats to stop people from reporting people that they just dont like but have never glitched. also people have some horrible connections and download crap while there playing so whats to stop people from reporting someone who was just lagging really bad as opposed to glitching. most people cant tell the difference too be honest.

I'm not condoning glitching but if you have to do something about it to make them stop, even if it is manipulating the system youself then I think IMO that it'd be ok for you to do it. For example remember back in S2 when people glitched into the boxes then for you to get the out you'd have to glitch a grenade into the box for you to get them out.

Probably the best thing to do is vote them out of the room and to go into GNK rooms and try to ruin them. You could probably jot down their names and compile a big list and then when Zipper finally decides to do something about glitchers send them in your list.

It may not stop glitching in all, but it sure as hell gives us all names of people who do glitch for when we go up against them so we are more prepared, that is kind of the whole point, im sure as we identify them we will eliminate them as well

That makes no sense, you have their names, SO?!?! Don't you think if you could eliminate them by just having their names, Zipper/Sony would have already done it? I am pretty sure that they have hundreds of names, but guess what, they still glitch, and so does the rest.

Yes! This is a GREAT idea.
So now while in the lobby, I can pull up Myspace and see if I'm getting ready to play with any known glitchers. That sounds very convenient, not to mention people will run crying when I tell them I'm putting their name on a myspace group.

So what happens when someone puts my name on there because I just worked them legitly, going 15-3 on Killing Fields small, and cleaned out their try-outs room? Because that's what is going to happen.

Just to let you guys know, this "list", will be endless. It will just keep growing and growing. It will be COMPLETLY impossible to read through 5 pages of names EVERY time you enter a room.

The best thing to do is just leave. There is always another game. If its your own room, then make the glitcher feel like crap by being more mature then him, or simply vote him out.

Thats is basically ALL you can do, and all you ever will be able to do. Sorry, but thats the 100% truth.

If you didint rea it, read it again. Just saves me the time to type it. Now in my opinion yes glitching in public rooms"BAD". But is there rALY A PROBLEM WITH people who just go into privae room?not really. And you cant do anythin about it. You have to deal with it. And the gltichers that go into pubic rooms and glitch are just amatures so join a room with real glitchers then complain, just saying. But ya you can try to report them but it wont work so just leave.

Quit flaming the guy...

At least iconoflaziness is stepping up, out of his own way, to try to do something, to halt glitching on Socom. He doesn't have to do this, nor does he get paid to do it, so at least respect him for the effort he is putting into this.

Whether it is working, or will work, is something only time will tell. Until them, either give him positive feedback, or suggestions, don't flame him.
