A 4-star I played with the other day said I need to play games with friendly fire on and all weapons allowed to get my rank back up into the positives. Is this true? He also said really the only way to get higher is by getting MVP all the time.
Also put your head in a bucket of water while you play it will improve your hit percentage
A Rank on Socom 3 is about as important as a rock in a garden. Its there so woopie! but it doesn't do squat, won't change your life, and if it was taken away I am sure no one would give a ****. All in all don't worry about your rank on a video game.
well rank does matter cuz of the new patch...just keep urself in the negatives or just junior grades so you can play with the majority of the socom community. I got myself down to -2000
well you don't have to try really hard to get down in the junior grades, just d/c alot and of course have fun playing the game...dont' just go around aborting.

Just forget that rank even exists. It does not matter, in clans, nobody gives a crap about rank (unless the clan is really dumb) just play the game, win some games, get some MVP's and your rank is bound to go up.
It really does not matter what rank you have. You can be a butter stick, a star, 4 stars, double butter stick, it really doesn't matter as long as you can play the game decent.
